Irish Sea Contractors receives platinum medal for sustainability

Irish Sea Contractors has been awarded the platinum medal from EcoVadis for sustainability. This award places Irish Sea Contractors in the top 1% of companies assessed by EcoVadis for their sustainability practices.

The growth in organisations focusing on sustainability in their supply chain continues to increase, and it can been seen across the offshore energy, subsea cable and marine engineering industries. Sustainable enterprise and social responsibility have always been a top priority for Irish Sea Contractors. This recognition by EcoVadis - the worldwide leading provider of sustainability ratings who evaluates the performances of companies and their supply chains - demonstrates this and the company values.

"We are delighted to have received the platinum award from our first assessment with EcoVadis", says David Barrett, Managing Director of Irish Sea Contractors.

"This result recognises the joint effort of all of our employees who continuously work to make our company more sustainable and ensure that we achieve this when on project sites. Going forward, we will use the analysis and results to continue responsibly shaping and improving our corporate culture and social impact."
