Atlantic stakeholders invited to contribute to the Review of the Atlantic Maritime Strategy and Action Plan
Share
The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) acting on behalf of the European Commission and DG MARE, invites all Atlantic stakeholders to take part in a dedicated survey supporting the Review of the Atlantic Maritime Strategy and its Action Plan.
The review study, carried out by Ramboll, assesses the implementation of the Atlantic Strategy since the last update of the Action Plan in 2020. Its objective is to identify lessons learned, areas for improvement and potential revisions to ensure that the Strategy and its Action Plan remain effective, relevant and aligned with evolving regional and global challenges, as well as with key EU policy priorities, including the European Ocean Pact.
Stakeholder input is a core pillar of this review process. Contributions from public authorities, organisations, networks and practitioners active in the Atlantic area will help build robust evidence base and support informed discussions with Atlantic Strategy Member States on the future direction of the Action Plan and, where appropriate, the Strategy itself.
All information provided through the survey will be shared with CINEA and the European Commission. Any data identified as confidential will be treated accordingly and will not be made publicly available or identifiable.
The survey is available in four languages and can be accessed here
Atlantic stakeholders are strongly encouraged to contribute and help shape the future priorities of the Atlantic Maritime Strategy.
