Liam Curran represented MIIN at the Norwegian Floating Wind Days event in Haugesund, Norway this week.

Enterprise Ireland's Liam Curran represented both the Marine Ireland Industry Network (MIIN) and the Gael Offshore Network at the Norwegian Floating Wind Days event in Haugesund, Norway this week.

The event focused on the Norwegian capabilities to transition fom Oil and Gas to Floating Offshore Wind, and was an important opportunity to build a relationship between the Irish Supply Chain and the key Norwegian players in the industry.

Liam had a short slot on the main stage to talk about what is happening in Ireland, and he focused on the size of the resource, the Powering Prosperity Netwional Offshore Wind Industry Strategy, the proposed Centre of Excellence and Floating Offshore Wind Demonstrator, and the capabilities of the Irish Supply Chain, specifically mentioning MIIN and Gael Offshore Network members TFI Marine, Dublin Offshore, Subsea Micropiles and Wood.
