AQUAMIS: Aquaculture Information Management System has been launched

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in collaboration with the Marine Institute, have announced that a new state-of-the-art Aquaculture Information Management System (#AQUAMIS) was launched on Friday the 1^st of July 2022. This will assist with the licensing and management of aquaculture operations.

The Aquaculture Licensing Sites Viewer provides an important digital tool to facilitate the management of aquaculture in Ireland’s marine and fresh waters.

It enables high-quality marine data and information to be more readily available for all.
