To start the week, MIIN exhibited at the OCEANS 2023 conference from Tuesday 6th to Thursday the 8th of June, with MIIN coordinator, Liam Curran, chairing a panel on Wednesday morning for Town Hall – Accelerating Technology Development to Address Climate Change: New Types of Partnerships and Funding.

On Thursday evening, following the close of the OCEANS 2023 conference, MIIN hosted a successful networking reception, which provided opportunities for attendees of the OCEANS 2023 Conference, to meet with both the domestic Irish marine industry capability and other international companies. MIIN welcomed over 80 attendees on the evening, with delegates from Canada, the United States, Spain and Singapore to name just a few. Attendees were welcomed by Marine Institute & Enterprise Ireland who support the network, and treated to some light refreshments, followed by some fantastic traditional Irish music from the University of Limerick.
