The Port of Waterford are hiring 📢🌊

The Port of Waterford are inviting applications from marine professionals to fill the current vacancy in the role of Marine Pilot (PĂ­olĂłta MuirĂ­).

  • Applicants should possess a valid STCW (regulation II/2) Certificate of Competency (Deck) on vessels of 500gt or more and be sailing in the position of Mate / Master, or possess an STCW (regulation II/1) OOW Unlimited Certificate and have recent experience in handling marine craft in a port environment.
  • The successful applicant must permanently reside within close proximity of the Pilot Station at Dunmore East, Co. Waterford.
  • Applicants must have a legal entitlement to work in Ireland and a proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing the English language.

The Port of Waterford reserves the right to shortlist candidates and/or form a panel for future vacancies.
