Call for participants: Survey of marine data users, producers and collectors to contribute to centralised repository roadmap
Share
Aqualicense Ltd, an Irish environmental consultancy, has been contracted by MARÉIRE to develop a roadmap to a centralised, standardised national marine data repository for Ireland, with a focus on data relevant to marine spatial planning. A key part of that process is the below questionnaire, and responses will directly inform the roadmap report, due in early 2027.
If you use, produce or collect marine data, or have any interest in it or national data infrastructure, in any way, please consider taking a few minutes to complete the form: Irish Marine Data Repository Questionnaire.
You do not need any technical knowledge to take part. Some sections are more detailed, and you will be given the option to skip them.
Time to complete: roughly 10 minutes
Closing date: 4th October 2026
Questions: mareireinfo@aqualicense.com
Responses are anonymous. We do not ask for your name or your organisation's name. Findings will be reported in summary form only, and no individual response will be identifiable in the published report. Responses are held by Aqualicense Ltd as data controller and deleted by 31 March 2028, twelve months after submission of the final report. For further information please view the Aqualicense Privacy Policy (link in form).
