Speaking about the continued investment , Mark Corcoran, Managing Director  at ASL said;

“Our national Priority now should be supporting the Phase 1 Projects and getting them through the planning process as quickly as possible, Despite the strong headwinds that Offshore Wind Developments are experiencing here in Ireland, we still feel that continued investment in renewables is the way forward, our centres are also being equipped with capacity to service as many sectors as we can, this will  ensure that our teams can be kept busy as demands rises and falls in the differing sectors. We feel the need to get state and private operators collaborating effectively now is the key to success in our burgeoning offshore wind industry.

With a strong pipeline of Offshore Wind Projects getting closer to construction each day, we are delighted to be continue to do our bit to help prepare our own local Irish workforce and give them the skills that will be needed as the solar and wind industry opens up, ASL will be continuing our investment in this area and associated technologies and training. We will be seeking to collaborate with other state and private bodies as the industry continues to grow.”

With our 4 Strategic Centre Locations on Irelands East Coast and with our mobile approved training capability we can bring accredited  Solar  & Wind Industry training to our clients or potential collaborator sites nationwide and also internationally when the need arises, like most Irish Wind Industry Supply Chain companies we are looking at opportunities in Scotland, Wales and further afield till the Offshore market is more buoyant here at home”
