EirGrid has now published an updated Grid Connection Information (GCI) Pack (Version 2) for prospective offshore windfarm developers of Tonn Nua of Government’s South Coast Designated Mari-time Area Plan (SC-DMAP).

In addition to all indicative information on proposed connection method, schedule, and other relevant technical information for developers, this update encompasses industry feedback gathered during the Powering Up Offshore – South Coast workshops held with industry in December 2024 and May 2025 and the associated Offshore Grid Transmission Use of System (OG-TUoS) charge and associated onshore connection asset costs.
