Sea Tech Week® 2024, one of the leading international events dedicated to marine and maritime science, will be held from 15th to 17th October in Brest, France. This prestigious gathering attracts over 1,000 top international experts from diverse marine disciplines and offers a unique opportunity for Irish journalists to engage with global maritime innovations and explore Ireland's prominent role as this year's Country of Honour.

As a journalist, you will have exclusive access to the event's cutting-edge workshops, trade fair, B2B meetings, and site tours, all while networking with top-tier stakeholders across business, academia, and government. Highlights include a strong Irish delegation, showcasing the country’s leadership in marine technology, safety, and innovation.

As a press trip participant, your role will be to:

  • Attend key workshops, site tours, and networking events.
  • Interview relevant speakers, exhibitors, and participants.
  • Publish event coverage in Irish media, with social media content encouraged during and post-event.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an Irish journalist with an interest or expertise in marine technology, blue economy, and international cooperation. You must be available to travel to Brest, France, from 14th to 17th October.

Remuneration: All travel, accommodation, and expenses for the trip will be covered, ensuring you can focus entirely on the event and your reporting.
