The Apprenticeship:

During the apprenticeship journey you will play a vital role within our Maintenance and Engineering team learning to:

  • Support on-site maintenance and engineering teams in routine and non-routine tasks.
  • Operate and support systems including on-site safety systems.
  • Provide technical support to various cross-functional teams across the site.
  • Ensure that all equipment stays operational, available, and compliant and how to use same.
  • Perform Maintenance duties relevant to your apprenticeship in accordance with regulations, safety considerations, and site quality standards.

Apprenticeship Programme Overview: Successful candidates will attend block releases through several phases over the 4-year apprenticeship program. This may involve attending one of the various technical institutions while keeping the Solas register up to date.

Education Requirements: Applicants must have achieved at least a Leaving Certificate pass or equivalent. Subjects in math, science, or engineering are advantageous but not essential. Current leaving cert students are welcome to apply, provided they pass their subjects.

  • Details of subject levels and grades achieved in Leaving Certificate or LCVP or other equivalent second level qualifications.
  • Any further examinations or training undertaken or currently being pursued.
  • Whether you have a driving license (full or provisional)
