Blue Economy Entrepreneurship (Erasmus+) project aimed at supporting entrepreneurial minds on EU islands

The Blue Economy Entrepreneurship Erasmus + (BEE) project is excited to launch its E-Course which focuses on tackling unemployment in the blue economy and coastal tourism sectors.
It has been designed following research that outlines the needs of those seeking entrepreneurial opportunities in the blue economy and living on European islands belonging to five EU countries (Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Cyprus and Malta).
The E-course is an open-source, self-learning tool that young adults can use to improve their entrepreneurial skills and knowledge of the blue ecotourism sector. It will be tested in each participating country to ensure that its design and content are in line with the needs of our target groups.
We are recruiting paid volunteers (unemployed young adults aged between 18 and 30 years) for a three-day test. All necessary materials will be provided, including food during the day. Volunteers will be tasked with providing feedback on the E-Course usability and practicality, as well as the overall content. Certificates will be provided upon completion.
The testing phase in Ireland is planned for November 2024. Stay tuned for more information on the project’s website and BEE’s social media channel!
