P&O Maritime are currently recruiting for a General Operative vacancy. 

Job location: Galway Docks
Contract type: Full-Time

About the Role

The General Operative will provide support to the Vessel Support Services department. Duties will be dependent on experience, however, may include the following: delivery/collection of survey equipment, net mending, repair of survey equipment, loading/unloading truck. Training will be provided.

Experience

Essential:

  • Full driving license
  • Experience in industry

Desirable:

  • Sea going experience
  • Trailer license
  • HGV license
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Fork truck license
  • Computer literate
