An Bord Pleanála is the national independent statutory body with responsibility for the determination of planning appeals and direct applications for strategic infrastructure and other proposed developments under the Planning and Development Acts and certain other Acts including new functions under the Maritime Area
Planning Act 2021.

This is an exciting opportunity to fill the roles of:

1. Ecologist (1 vacancy)
2. Environmental Scientist/Marine Scientist (1 vacancy)

The ideal candidates will provide expert advice and support, where required, to the inspectorate in the preparation of Appropriate Assessment and/or Environmental Impact Assessments in accordance with national and European legislation.
