Development & Innovation Services Director
(PO, Permanent and Full Time)

The Development and Innovation Services Director reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is a key member of the senior leadership team who will lead the implementation of the business development and innovation components of BIM’s strategic plan.

The Development & Innovation Services Business Unit is a key team in providing the necessary skills and expertise to lead the transformation of the long-term potential of the sector, focusing on adding value and accessing new markets; providing solutions to the challenges the sector faces; delivering and encouraging progress, assisting the sector in accessing grant and other practical supports and providing innovation supports and services that result in commercial impact.

Salary
In accordance with the Public Sector, Department of Finance the approved Salary Scale is a salary range of €97,207- €120,237 (as at 1^st March 2023) per annum pro-rated with time worked.

Corporate Services Director
(PO, Permanent and Full Time)

The Corporate Services Director is responsible for leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team that enables the delivery of the corporate functions that underpin BIM’s strategic plan.  The role provides timely, expert and strategic information and advice to the senior leadership team to facilitate effective decision making, supported by the highest levels of governance.  The purpose of this role is to create and execute the strategy and plans underpinning all aspects of the delivery of Corporate Services functions to BIM and the industry.  The Director is responsible for driving operational efficiency, governance and compliance across the organisation through the provision of efficient services and allowing the external-facing business units to be responsive to industry, client and economic trends.

Regional Environmental Officer
(Full Time, Contract of Indefinite Duration)

The role supports two regional development teams working with the aquaculture and fisheries sectors to address a wide range of environmental and sustainability issues.

The successful candidate for this position will also play a vital role in the promotion of sustainable activity within overarching strategies for the sectors including, inter alia, NSPEA, Inshore Fisheries Strategy and Seafood OP.

Salary
Remuneration is in accordance with the Public Sector, Department of Finance approved Salary Scale for Engineer Grade III, with a salary range of €35,336 – €72,999 p.a. (as at 1st March 2023) per annum pro-rated with time worked.
