This is just one of a suite of training programmes we are now actively running from our centre of excellence at Kish Business Park in Arklow and Arklow Harbour that are required for personnel who work or want to work in the wind industry.

Our continued investment  programme in our people, plant and further premises by ASL  to prepare for the new opportunities that are fast becoming available on and off our coasts nationally.

Following the successful 1st running of the course, Mark Corcoran, Managing director at ASL said;

“We have been working very hard to add all of these courses over several years, there is great personal satisfaction for me in seeing these courses  being delivered at our centres, having these courses and associated services  available here on the east coast will certainly be a key to helping attract this type of development and much more In the marine sphere too, our accreditations will help us continue to broaden our training & education offering from our Arklow Marine & Offshore Centre of Excellence. Like some other key providers in our region, We have been involved in the supply chain for the wider wind and marine industry for years and we have been lucky enough to have built a strong reputation with existing and more recently with several new clients both local and internationally, these programmes and services will allow us to continue to add value for our clients in the on & offshore wind and marine  sector. Over the last several years we have and continue to  invest heavily in our people, accreditations and premises, this continuing expansion will bring us nicely into Phase 2 of these plans very shortly, so watch this space. We are looking forward to continuing to build and broaden relationships with all stakeholders in the Marine & Offshore area, and indeed to create some more local jobs at our premises”.
