Renewable Energy Interns Available

The students enrolled in the Green Tech Skillnet award winning ‘Work in Wind’ programme are available for internships from the start of June.

They are undergoing their training until the end of May 2022, which is delivered by industry experts. Upon completion of the programme they will be knowledgeable on Energy Markets, Grid, Policy, Planning, Community Engagement, Biodiversity and Environmental Impact. They will have also obtained a foundation level certificate in Renewable Asset Management.

Additionally, the candidates have a diverse educational and professional background, such as highly qualified and experienced engineers (environmental, energy, mechanical, marine, production etc.), law and environmental policy graduates, GIS professionals and graduates, highly experienced project management, marketing, business administration and supply chain professionals, geologists, and architects among others.

Whether your firm is in renewable energy (on the developer, utility, or finance side) or in the supply chain – these students have a unique skillset, which means they can hit the ground running.

We are also looking for volunteers for the industry experts workshop. We require a short presentation from various professional backgrounds to describe their experience in the industry and how they developed their career. It will be both inspirational to hear from you and it will provide a roadmap that participants can follow to chase a career they want.

If you are interested in hosting an intern and/or speaking at the industry experts workshop, please contact Ledi on ledi@windenergyireland.com who can provide more information about the 'Work in Wind' programme, the available candidates and their CVs, and facilitate meetings.
