National Maritime College of Ireland

The National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI) provides education, training and research support to the shipping, supply chain, ports, offshore energy and maritime regulatory, defence & emergency services sectors in Ireland, the EU and internationally. NMCI is a national public sector institution, it is a constituent college of the Munster Technological University (www.mtu.ie) and a partnership with the Irish Naval Service (www.military.ie). NMCI is Ireland’s primary centre for the education and training of maritime professionals under the International Maritime Organisation’s STCW Convention. The College educates Supply Chain & Logistics professionals and provides training to support Ireland’s national maritime, marine, Search & Rescue and other frontline emergency services.
