ORESA Accelerator Programme for Offshore Renewable Energy SMEs
The ORESA Accelerator Programme is inviting innovative SMEs working in offshore wind, wave and tidal energy to express interest in its third innovation programme. The initiative is designed to help companies strengthen the sustainability and commercial potential of technologies at Technology Readiness Levels 4–6.
Selected SMEs will receive targeted support covering life-cycle assessment and circularity, nature-inclusive design, sustainability policy, and the integration of environmental performance with profitability. The programme also offers coaching, networking and opportunities to refine company pitches for investors, partners and prospective customers.
Eligible applicants must meet the EU definition of an SME, be registered within the Interreg North-West Europe region, and be developing a relevant product or service for the offshore renewable energy sector. At least one senior staff member must participate in online preparation, an intensive in-person training week in Brest, France, in November 2026, and a six-month follow-up programme involving one-to-one support.
Participation in the accelerator is provided at no cost, although participating companies are expected to cover their accommodation during the training week. The published application deadline of 10 July 2026 has now passed, but interested businesses can register for the waiting list to receive information on the current call and future opportunities.
