New €1.7 million tender: supporting the EU Mission to Restore our Ocean and Waters

This call will set up the Mission Implementation Support Platform for the EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters, a one-stop shop to turn objectives into action during deployment, supporting authorities, stakeholders and citizens across Europe. 

With a total budget of €1.7 million and a duration of 36 months, the contract will provide practical support to accelerate implementation, strengthen engagement and help scale up innovative solutions for ocean and waters restoration.

The Mission Implementation Support Platform is designed to serve as a central support mechanism for the Mission’s deployment phase. 

The platform will provide a broad range of services, including:

• a knowledge hub and science-to-policy advice to support Mission implementation;
• financial and technical assistance, alongside capacity-building activities;
• outreach, dissemination and citizen engagement actions;
• support for the Mission Charter, the online portal, the Blue Parks community and Mission-related events;
• activities to help scale innovative solutions for the restoration of oceans and waters.
