Call for evidence on upcoming European Commission's ocean and water research and innovation strategy

Call for evidence is open for the European Commission's ocean and water research and innovation strategy. This strategy will build on the EU's research and innovation framework programme and, among others, its mission to restore our ocean and waters by 2030.

It aims to:

• improve the current governance of research and innovation by overcoming the fragmentation of initiatives, including research infrastructures;
• take a source-to-sea approach to addressing pollution and resource management issues.

It will also address the financing for further development and deployment of new knowledge and solutions.

Deadline: 2nd August 2026
