SEAI Excellence in Energy and Research Innovation

About the Award

The Research award is aimed at organisations that have researched and developed novel energy-related technologies, processes or systems, that overcome barriers to uptake, support policy objectives and strengthen national capacity for world-class research, development and demonstration (RD&D). 

Research projects should have outputs that accelerate delivery of Ireland’s clean energy ambitions and early-stage pilot and demonstration projects are welcome. 

This winner will receive a €15,000 bursary. 

Who should apply?

Applications are welcome from companies, 3rd level educational bodies, public sector bodies and semi-state bodies involved in impactful energy research.
