Interreg Atlantic Area Call 3 Open
The Third Call for Projects is open from November 25th to 14th of February (1:00 PM, Lisbon Time) allocating around 43 million Euros to projects in line with the three thematic Programme priorities and seven specific objectives, as provided in the Approved Cooperation Programme 2021-2027.
This call intends to select high-quality transnational projects in which relevant organisations cooperate to make regions more resilient to common challenges that know no borders and cannot be solved alone.
It covers the priorities of Blue innovation and competitiveness, Blue/Green environment, and Blue sustainable and social tourism & culture.
Thematic priority | Blue innovation and competitiveness (Smarter Europe)
Specific objectives
1.1 Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and the uptake of advanced technologies
1.2 Reaping the benefits of digitalisation for citizens, companies, research organisation and public authorities
Thematic priority | Blue and green environment (Greener Europe)
Specific objectives
2.1 Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
2.4 Promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention, resilience, taking into account eco-system-based approaches.
2.6 Promoting the transition to a circular and resource-efficient economy.
2.7 Enhancing protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity, and green infrastructure, including in urban areas, and reducing all forms of pollution.

Specific objective
4.6 Enhancing the role of culture and tourism in economic development, social inclusion and social innovation

Projects supported under this call will be co-financed and reimbursed up to 75%.
Partners may apply for project funding until 14th of February of 2025 (at 1:00 PM Lisbon time). The partnership should involve 4 to 12 beneficiaries, considering that projects must include at least partners from the 4 Member States of the cooperation area, one per country/eligible region.
