Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical maintenance of the SFPC plant, equipment and facilities
  • Supporting operations
  • Involvement in capital and upgrading projects

Qualifications/Experience:

The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician with:

  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience including:
    • Electrical maintenance background in a heavy industry environment
    • Experience commissioning heavy duty industrial installations and equipment
    • Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems
  • Strong awareness of the relevant statutory and industry codes for electrical maintenance and installations
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills, well developed abilities in decision-making and problem solving, and the ability to plan and organise a demanding workload.
  • Willing to work irregular hours outside of the standard 0800 to 1700 working week as part of a flexible and changeable roster to suit the needs to shipping activities
  • Valid full (minimum Cat B) EU driving license

Financial & Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and Board reports to include trend and variance analysis.
  • Responsibility for monthly balance sheet reconciliations and the overseeing of related financial control accounts.
  • Preparation of subsidiary company monthly accounts and consolidation to group accounts.
  • Provide a key liaison for annual external audit process ensuring that the external auditors are provided with all relevant information in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist the Financial Controller with all statutory financial reporting requirements of the Company so as to ensure that all required disclosures of both accounting standards and governance standards as outlined within the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies are adhered to.
  • Management of the Internal Financial Control systems and the assuming of responsibility for the Finance Risk Register. This will involve being the lead point of contact for internal risk audits and monitoring the corrective action process to ensure all findings and actions arising from internal audits are closed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with and provide support to the treasury, payables, receivables, taxation and payroll functions including providing holiday cover for those areas where required.
  • Providing support for the financial evaluation of key business decisions e.g. pricing changes, investment appraisals.
  • Undertake all other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Qualified accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
  • High attention to detail, strong organisation skills, and a process orientated mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a clear and logical thought process.
  • Strong communication skills that include the ability to communicate clearly and accurately.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Full proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with a high level of IT skills.

Port Services Maintenance Fitter

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling of day-to-day port equipment maintenance requirements in accordance with SFPC policies and procedures ensuring engineering and maintenance KPIs are met. React to breakdowns as a matter of priority with a view to minimising equipment downtime. Continuous liaison with members of the Port Services team and associated stakeholders is critical to this position.
  • Be a leader in the maintenance function to improve work methods and performance with respect to reliability, costs, energy and quality and in conjunction with the Engineering & Port Services office develop and implement progressive planned and predictive LEAN maintenance systems
  • Contribute and participate in the assignment of equipment priorities, planning and scheduling, maintenance plans, reviews, and failure investigations
  • Engage directly with manufacturers and suppliers of parts and services to ensure timely and efficient availability of port equipment as required, including identifying, organising, and supervising the attendance of 3rd party technicians.
  • Ensure duties are completed in compliance with all SFPC EHS, operational policies and procedures at all times
  • Completion of records and reports, strictly in accordance with SFPC policy and procedures

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Be a qualified fitter/engineer/maintenance practitioner with at least three years’ experience, preferably in a facilities / heavy plant maintenance environment.
  • Have a strong background in
    • trouble-shooting heavy plant and machinery and in particular hydraulic systems.
    • heavy plant / facilities involving hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical power trains.
  • Have the ability to work at height in an outdoor marine environment.
  • Understand and be able to read and interrogate hydraulic drawings for trouble shooting purposes.
  • Be familiar with and understand preventative maintenance processes, theory, and practice.
  • Be able to diagnose and solve problems and implement permanent solutions while working under their own initiative.

Marine Operations Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling daily shipping moves across all facilities on the Estuary. This includes the assignment of berths and the coordination of support services including lines, pilots, pilot boat etc.
  • Scheduling the provision of cargo handling equipment at SFPC facilities and coordinating the availability to Agents, Stevedores and SFPC personnel.
  • Coordination of Access Control system, including liaising with Port Users and transport providers.
  • Communicate with Statutory Bodies including the Department of Transport, Coast Guard, Irish Lights.
  • Maintenance of any routines in relation to CMMS and Risk Register.
  • Compile and present reports and statistics.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Have an appropriate 3rd level qualification and/or extensive experience in working in an office environment.
  • Be proficient in O365 applications.
  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in ERP type systems would be advantageous.
  • While marine related experience would be advantageous, it is not essential.
  • Willing to learn and contribute to a small team environment.
