ESB is the largest supplier of renewable electricity in Ireland. ESB and Ørsted, the world leader in offshore wind development, on June 1st 2023 signed an agreement to jointly develop an Irish offshore wind portfolio in a landmark deal.  The partnership has the potential to deliver up to five gigawatts of renewable energy and complementary green hydrogen projects.
