The international summit for wind-powered maritime transport

Wind for Goods

Today, 90% of global trade in goods relies on maritime transport, which is responsible for 3% of global CO2 emissions. In order to reduce the environmental impact, stakeholders are developing groundbreaking technology to decarbonise maritime transport and design innovative vessels that are both efficient and green.

Organized by the Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement agency since 2021, Wind for Goods is today the only international event dedicated to wind-powered shipping.

It brings together all the leaders in the sector to present the concrete solutions and innovations that will decarbonise maritime freight transport, and to discuss the key advantages and challenges of this sector, which is working to protect our maritime environment.
