Wind Energy Ireland Trade Show 2024
đź“… Wed 6th - Thurs 7th November 2024

Ireland’s second Wind Energy Trade Show, building on WEI's hugely successful event last year, will take place in November 2024 in Dublin.
Ireland is a world leader in onshore wind energy and the integration of renewable power. We have some of the best offshore wind resources on the planet. Our first offshore projects are entering the planning system and we have new offshore and onshore auctions in 2024 and early 2025.
We are in the process of finalising the South Coast Designated Maritime Area Plan (DMAP), the first sub-national, forward maritime spatial plan for offshore renewable energy proposed by the State. The draft DMAP identifies 4 maritime areas for future offshore wind development off the South Coast of Ireland.
We have a Government committed to our clean energy future, an industry determined to deliver it, a new national industrial strategy for offshore wind that will put Ireland at the forefront of Europe’s energy transformation and a Future Framework setting out a policy vision for wind energy post 2030.
Ireland is a huge opportunity for investors and the supply-chain, arguably the best untapped offshore wind resource in the world, with a skilled workforce, decades of experience in onshore energy and a supportive policy framework.
Our electricity grid is being reinforced, our planning system is being reformed, Ireland is accelerating the delivery of our renewable energy potential and we are inviting you to join us in Dublin this November.
Our Wind Energy Trade Show will bring together the key players in the global renewable energy supply chain with the Irish leaders, businesses and innovators that are driving our own energy transformation.
We will make Ireland energy independent. We will cut our carbon emissions and we will ensure Irish people have an affordable, secure, supply of clean electricity for their homes and families.
Join us in Dublin in November to find out how you can play your part.
