WEI Offshore Wind 2024

📅 Thurs 2nd - Fri 3rd May 2024
🕑 09:30 - 17:00
📍 Clayton Burlington Hotel, Dublin

For 20 years Arklow Bank has been Ireland’s only offshore wind farm.

It won’t be alone much longer.

Ireland’s first offshore wind farms in a generation, more than 4 GW of clean energy, are about to enter the planning system after a successful first auction last year. A Government committed to cutting our carbon emissions and achieving Irish energy independence is setting out a long-term plan that will see 20 GW of capacity operating in some of the world’s best natural wind resources by 2040. Our planning system is being reformed. Our electricity grid is being strengthened. New auctions, including one for later this year, are already scheduled.

Offshore Wind 2024 is Ireland’s most important annual offshore event in one of Europe’s most exciting and rapidly developing markets. Join us on 2 and 3 May in Dublin to hear from the policymakers and leaders of Ireland’s renewable revolution.
