Save the Date: European Ocean Days

The European Ocean Days return to Brussels next year. A flagship initiative designed to bring together ocean stakeholders, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to accelerate progress toward a sustainable and resilient ocean.

The European Ocean Days is a week-long event with a series of dynamic and interconnected sessions focused on key ocean-related themes, all designed to encourage participants to engage across topics and contribute to a shared vision for the prosperity, competitiveness, security and sustainability of our ocean.

Inspired by the European Ocean Pact, the 3rd edition of the event will bring together industry leaders, startups, investors, policymakers, scientists, SMEs, representatives from fisheries and aquaculture, islands and coastal communities, the Mission Ocean and Waters community, and civil society, including youth voices. Participants will engage in consultations, panel discussions, workshops, and community events to exchange ideas, discuss upcoming challenges, scale up innovative solutions, and jointly pave the way for concrete actions supporting the implementation of the European Ocean Pact.

This annual event will serve as a hub for dialogue and cooperation, focusing on key priorities such as:

  • Ocean Governance – Strengthening collaboration across sea basins and aligning with EU missions

  • Blue Economy Innovation – Driving sustainable growth through technology and partnerships

  • Climate Action & Biodiversity – Protecting marine ecosystems and adapting to changing conditions

  • Ocean Literacy & Skills – Empowering citizens and future generations with knowledge and capacity

Through interactive sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, European Ocean Days will foster knowledge-sharing and actionable commitments to advance the goals of the European Ocean Pact and the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0.

Stay tuned, registrations will open in December 2025
