OPIN Annual Symposium 2021
OPIN Annual Symposium 2021 will be held at on September 23rd, 2021, in Nantes, France, and is co-organized by WEAMEC. The event will be hybrid or fully online, depending on the sanitary situation.
OPIN Annual Symposium will provide an update on OPIN’s goals and the different supports available, a brainstorming session on potential working groups to be funded by OPIN, and a networking opportunity with OPIN members.
This event will coincide with SEANERGY 2021, to be held in Nantes between September 21st and 24th.

Collaborative Innovation Groups (CIG) are OPIN working groups made of SMEs, working with research entities or large companies to solve problems identified as barriers to the offshore energy sector.

15:40-16:15 CIG brainstorming (break-out session)
Based on surveys conducted with OPIN members, examples of CIG challenges that could be tackled under the call will be presented. The break-out session will provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss their specific interest in the highlighted challenges. These discussions will be guided by a technical expert from the project and will develop ideas for CIGs that could be formed to tackle these issues.

Attending the OPIN Annual Symposium is free, but registration to SEANERGY 2021 will be required to access the face-to-face event (more information here). No registration fee required for attending the OPIN Annual Symposium online.
