Lessons from Scotland – Building Offshore Wind Skills

This webinar, brought to you by the Irish Offshore Wind Energy Centre of Vocational Excellence (part of the T-shore project), explores how Scotland is addressing its offshore wind skills challenge.

Scotland has learned that developing the indigenous skills required to meet the needs of the sector cannot be driven by any single developer or project. It requires a coordinated industry approach, long-term planning, and collective action today to build the workforce needed tomorrow.

Alan Duncan, Owner and Director of Scotia Supply Chain, will lead the session. He will share insights on evolving state leasing methods to embed skills agendas across the UK, how developers have responded through focused initiatives, and how training providers are adapting to meet the sector’s changing needs.
