The Atlantic Strategy Joint Pillar III & Pillar IV webinar will focus on the topic of " Large-Scale Marine Renewable Energy (MRE) Innovation Deployment & the Environment". It will bring together policymakers, project developers, researchers, and environmental experts to explore the key ecological challenges associated with large-scale MRE roll-out, including environmental impact assessment processes, biodiversity protection, monitoring requirements, and cumulative impacts. 

Participants will share experiences from across Atlantic regions, highlighting both persistent barriers and emerging solutions. The discussion will also examine how regulatory frameworks, scientific evidence, and cross-border collaboration can better align to support environmentally responsible and timely deployment of MRE projects.
