The recently launched Horizon Europe Programme is the world’s largest multinational research and innovation programme, with €95.5 billion available over the coming seven years. It provides a massive opportunity for researchers and industry alike to access funding for ground-breaking research and innovation to help tackle some of our biggest societal challenges.  Our courses focus on Pillar 2 opportunities. These include top-down calls for consortia to form and design projects to address the priorities and challenges identified by the EU with the largest share of the Horizon Europe budget.

This course will give you the understanding and tools you need to develop a highly-targeted project design customised towards the call topic this includes: call identification and analysis, concept note development, potential impact pathways, consortium design. Strategic effort and attention at this early stage is critical and increases the efficiency of proposal development and is more likely to result in a higher-scoring bid.

We will take you step by step through each section of the application form, providing examples and ideas on how to build up a proposal effectively and efficiently, covering the key elements needed to secure a high scoring proposal and avoiding common pitfalls. Impact Pathways Workshop

Impact, Section 2 of the proposal, is often the most challenging section to write and where proposals lose marks. This workshop will model an analytical, step-by-step process that will support you to map convincing Impact Pathways. Learn how to address fully the expected outcomes and impacts of the call topic and destination, achieve the specificity required and consider impact implications for project design and consortium selection. How will you demonstrate that your project will help change the lives of EU citizens for the better and offer the EC value for money in realising their strategic objectives?
