The global offshore wind industry is experiencing unprecedented growth, driven by the urgent need for clean energy solutions.  This year's EI Offshore Wind Forum will delve into the complex dynamics of this rapidly evolving market, exploring the potential for Irish companies to capitalise on global trends while addressing the hurdles that lie ahead.
 
Key themes of this year’s event will be:
 

• Market Opportunities: We will look at the big picture overview on the global offshore wind industry, along with exploring opportunities for Irish companies in a range of overseas markets. We will also be hearing practical information and experience from companies currently working in those markets.
• Innovation: Learn from successful Irish companies already making waves in the industry and explore funding avenues to fuel further innovation. We will be showcasing a number of practical examples of Irish companies and stakeholders collaborating to develop innovations for the global Offshore Wind industry.
• Collaboration:  Discover how industry and cross-sector collaboration between Irish companies and stakeholders is driving advancements in offshore wind technology.

 
The Forum will also examine funding opportunities that exist in Ireland to help Irish companies innovate in the sector and will explore where the proposed Centre of Excellence for Offshore Wind could focus in order to maximise its return for the Irish Offshore Wind industry.
