Energy Storage Ireland 2022 Annual Conference
This will be the first in person conference ever for the energy storage industry in Ireland & Northern Ireland. The exciting full day conference will examine the next steps for the energy storage industry on the island following the successful delivery of over 450 MW of battery storage in the last two years. This year will be all about the evolution of energy storage in Ireland and unlocking the wider benefits it can bring to our system and to consumers and ultimately delivering our net-zero goals.
A number of expert speakers across the sector in areas such as security of supply, evolving business models for storage assets, incentives for long-duration energy storage, hybrid projects and best practice approaches to safety will be presenting to name a few.
The Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, Eamon Ryan TD will open the conference. This promises to be a great occasion for the energy storage industry to connect in person and build on our success to date to ensure a secure and sustainable energy future.
