4th Wind Value Conference on Wind Energy

The Fourth Wind Value Conference on Wind Energy will be held on Monday 19th October 2026 in Maynooth University.

As with previous Wind Value conferences this will be a hybrid event. The conference is about all aspects of wind energy, in particular energy finance and risk management.

Breffní Lennon, a Research Fellow with the UCC Sustainability Institute at University College Cork, has been invited to speak on the “Just Transition to Renewable Energy” at the Fourth Wind Value Conference to be held on Monday 19th October in Maynooth University.

Dr Lennon has published widely on how communities interact with climate policy and the transition to renewable energy, exploring how large-scale energy policies and climate actions impact people and communities at the local level.The conference will be held in the South Campus of Maynooth University. The schedule will be released later, the start time will be 10am to facilitate travel.

The Wind Value research project is financially supported by Research Ireland’s  Pathway Programme: IRC*21/PATH-A/9348. Wind Value began in the Sustainability Institute of University College Cork.
